Visitors from the Philippines and from around the world who wish to travel to Australia for tourism, business, or to visit family must obtain a Visitor Visa (Subclass 600). This visa allows you to stay for 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on your circumstances.

With a Visitor Visa, you can:

✅ Travel for leisure or business purposes

✅ Visit family and friends in Australia

✅ Extend your stay if you already hold a valid visa

When holding a Visitor Visa, you must not:

Work in Australia – You cannot take up any paid employment. Limited volunteer work may be allowed.

Study for more than 3 months – If you plan to study longer, consider a Student Visa.

Overstay your visa – You must leave Australia before your visa expires unless you apply for another valid visa.

Engage in business activities beyond a visitor scope – You can attend business meetings, conferences, or negotiate deals, but you cannot work for an Australian business or sell goods/services directly to the public.

Available Streams:

  • Tourist Stream (Apply Outside Australia) – For travellers visiting for holidays or family visits.

  • Tourist Stream (Apply in Australia) – For those already in Australia who want to extend their stay.

  • Sponsored Family Stream – For applicants with family members in Australia willing to sponsor them.

  • Business Visitor Stream – For short-term business visits, including meetings and conferences.

  • Approved Destination Status Stream – For citizens of certain countries travelling in an organised tour group.

  • Frequent Traveller Stream – For eligible travellers who frequently visit Australia.
